There are a variety of tasks that can be performed from within the Site Admin section (click to view screenshot) of Bugs Online. These functions are described below:
Adding a User
To add a new user simply enter the First Name, Last Name, User Name, Password, Email Address and select all of the projects for which they will be users. If you select the Management option they will be given access to the Site Admin section of Bugs Online. Once this information is entered click "Add".
Adding a Project
Enter the new project name in the empty text box directly below "Site Projects" and click "Add".
Adding a Project Program
Select the project you wish to add the project program for and enter the new project program name in the empty text box directly below "Project Programs" and click "Add".
Adding a Program Area
Select the project and project program you wish to add the program area for and enter the new program area name in the empty text box directly below "Program Areas" and click "Add".
Removing a Project
Select the project from the projects list box and click "Remove".
Removing a Program
Select the program from the projects programs list box and click "Remove".
Removing a Program Area
Select the program area from the program areas list box and click "Remove".
Authorizing a user to a project
Select the project you wish to authorize the user to. Then click the "Users" radio button and the "[Unauth.]" radio button. Once this is completed and the page refreshed, select the user or users (ctl. or shift click for multiple) and click "Add".
Authorizing a developer for a project program
Select the project and program you wish to authorize the developer to. Then click the "Developers" radio button and the "[Unauth.]" radio button. Once this is completed and the page refreshed, select the developer or developers (ctl. or shift click for multiple) and click "Add". By doing this the developer will show up within the list of available developers for this project and program when a user creates or modifies a bug.
Un-authorizing a user from a project
Select the project you wish to un-authorize the user from. Then click the "Users" radio button and the "[Auth.]" radio button. Once this is completed and the page refreshed, select the user or users (ctl. or shift click for multiple) and click "Remove".
Un-authorizing a devloper from a project program
Select the project and program you wish to un-authorize the developer from. Then click the "Developers" radio button and the "[Auth.]" radio button. Once this is completed and the page refreshed, select the developer or developers (ctl. or shift click for multiple) and click "Remove". By doing this the developer will no longer show up within the list of available developers for this project and program when a user creates or modifies a bug.
Creating a report
To create a report you must select at a minimum a project from the "Site Projects" list. You may additionally select Program, Program Areas, and Developers. The report will be rendered based upon the criteria you have selected.
